Each of our grades has a stewardship focus. Our 5th grade class has a focus of Military. Throughout the year they establish different Military focused events, field trips, collections for the shelter, and cards for military and veteran members. 
Students know the Patron Saint of Military is Saint Michael the Archangel and recite their Stewardship Prayer. 
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.
